Philip Christoph Vogler Foundation, Inc.

The Philip Christoph Vogler Foundation, Inc. was originally named the Philip Christoph Vogler Memorial, Inc. The Memorial was founded by Charles M. Vogler with the first Steering Committee Meeting (SCM) being held on July 27, 1986 in Winston-Salem, NC, USA.   It was incorporated in August of 1986 by E. Edward Vogler, Jr.  The second SCM was held on October 5, 1986.  The first Vogler Reunion was held on April 10-12, 1987 in Winston-Salem, NC.  The organization's name was officially changed to Philip Christoph Vogler Foundation, Inc. in June, 1994.

PCVF Object and Purpose:

As stated in the By-Laws of PCVF, Inc. (Article 2), the object and purpose of the Philip Christoph Vogler Foundation shall be educational, and to that end, shall be to acquire and spread before the citizens information as to family genealogical research using computer technologies and to develop their talents in the use of such software in the documentation and pursuit of their family genealogy.

The PCVF also seeks to identify all descendants of our common ancestor, Philip Christoph Vogler, to document the Vogler heritage for current descendants and future generations, and in doing so, pay homage to our past.
